Ingredients (per serving)
-1/2 cup gluten-free oats (I use Only Oats)
-1 cup water
-1/4 cup nuts (sliced almonds or pecans pieces work best)
-1/2 tsp sugar (white or brown)
-1/4 cup diced strawberries (optional)
1. In a small sauce pan, bring water to a boil.
2. Add oats and reduce heat. Leave to simmer until water is absorbed by oats.
3. Scoop oatmeal into bowl and sprinkle with nuts, sugar and strawberries.
4. Mix well and feel full until lunch.
